Assemble the Hardware
Hackers worked in pairs to build Music Tech digital prototypes based on the Arduino uno micro-controller.
They attached Tinkerkit shields and explored how the light, touch, accelerometer worked.
They built tangible interfaces for their unique instruments linking the analog and digital worlds.
Install the Software
The teams installed the Arduino and Processing IDEs and the Mozzi Ardunio Library.
They verified and upload Mozzi Sketches to the Arduino to power the sensors.
The sensors generate new musical tones when the inputs were changed.
Hardware Hacks
They swapped sensors in and out to refine their instruments.
Some hackers tackled the code and built an Arpeggiator which to cycled through notes in sequence going up and down in pitch.
The event culminating with a live performances on the main Music Tech Fest Stage.
